Approximately 42” long X 15” wide X 13” tall to the top of the windshield. Fiberglass construction with gel coat finish.

Highly valuable collector's piece. In early Princecraft history, the "F" designates their early Fiberglass initiative, while the "Z" or additional lettering denotes the specific run type (in this case, factory-ordered Z-scale or promotional dealer-showroom samples). The "138" Number means it is the 138th sample unit produced in that specific design run. Low triple-digit numbers are the sweet spot for collectors—it proves a very early production run, making it immensely scarcer than late-era corporate models.

The "Red on White" colour is a classic late-1950s/1960s "two-tone" gel coat scheme that perfectly matches the golden era of mid-century maritime design. An aluminum serial plate combined with a raised script logo definitively dates this Princecraft salesman sample to the mid-to-late 1960s. During this era, marine manufacturers transitioned from heavy brass plates to lightweight aluminum, and premium showroom models featured the same elegant, three-dimensional raised script emblems found on the full-sized boats. Collectors heavily favor the raised metal or hard plastic script emblems over flat stickers or decals. Decals dry out and peel, but raised script survives and gives the model a premium, miniature "luxury" look that commands a 20% to 30% price bump.

The aluminum "FZ138" plate confirms this was produced right when fiberglass hull technology was booming. This exact era represents peak nostalgia for vintage boating enthusiasts, especially in Canada and the northern US where Princecraft is legendary.
